I love finding new things that can be helped by paint!

The numbers on the front say “1951”..If ever there was a more perfect setting for a barn than in the middle of a corn field, I have not seen it.. I’m pretty sure I’ve never met a barn I didn’t like, but this one, of course, is my new favorite.. Are you a secret barn addict too?

Go ahead, leave me of those wonderful comments and let me know that I’m not a crazy barn stalker!.Or at least that I’m not alone…Since coming to the new house, I find myself making excuses to do the laundry as often as I can….. Do you love your laundry too?If we never would have moved, we would have been comfortable.We would have had all the little day-to-day, mundane details of life worked out.

When to cut the grass, how often to vacuum the floors, where to fold the laundry.I would have made about 30 different amazing back-to-school crafts by now.

Kennedy’s closet would be organized.. Life in the city was settled.

We were happy enough, or at least not un-happy.I’m still waiting on some blooms from different plants and shrubs, so in the meantime, these do quite nicely.

They last for weeks and they’re kind of fun and tropical-looking..It only took me about 10 minutes and since I used the same basic ideas as a layout I knew would work, it didn’t make me panic and think that nothing would ever look good in this house ever and how are we ever going to find time to actually renovate anyway?.
